THE NEW ANDROID L

Google has been secretly working on a new Android operating system. It was revealed to the public at June’s Google I/O conference. The OS which goes by the name Android L will be a major departure for the mobile OS. Its main features are a complete new interface, more fluid animation a renewed focus to improve battery life and for the first time a 64-bit processor.
Android l was the main event I/O although unlike all other good products, it was not given a sweet flavored codename. It is unclear at this stage whether Android L will be its final name or Google will reveal its actually name few days to or during the product launch. If they name is retained, it will indicate a change in the naming pattern of Android products. Everyone expect a something a little sweeter that Android L.
The most obvious change that comes with this Android is the visual one. It is also reported to have over 5,000 new APIs ticking away from the scenes. The new design scheme is set to appear not only on Google platforms but also to look best on smart phones and tablets. Goggle claims to have drawn inspiration from pens and inks. Every icon and user interface element set to cast an accurate shadow to indicate depth. Every icon will animate at a touch, and objects flying into view and touched icons rippling like puddles.
Both the home screen and the lock screen have been made a new. The quick setting pull down menu, main setting page and the onscreen navigation button have received a makeover. A new system widget to match the design scheme will be included. Every google app will be redesigned to match the new look. Some have already been upgraded for the developer preview. Some leaked images have appeared online. Some leaks indicate a complete new look for the play store, for both smart phones and tablets.
T6he notification system for Android L has been overhauled c completely. From the Android l users will be able to check notifications from the lock screen without first unlocking. In the previous versions of Android, users have to unlock first to respond of dismiss notifications. Notifications will appear as a stock of Google now-like-cards. Users can scroll through it rather than flooding the screen.

It will also include a new personalized unlock mode which will make your smart phone or tablet search for familiar Bluetooth gadgets, WI-Fi networks, location and voice imprints that will deactivate lock screen protections. The recent apps page is set to become the content page. This will enable users to jump between apps and web links and pages. The stock keyboard will be updated by Google for Android L which will add more personalization features.

The arrival of Android L should bring plenty of improvement in terms of performance and visual change. This will help in speeding up the existing phones and make the most new hardware. The move from Dalvik runtime to ART is the biggest back-end change. The ART run time supports ARM x86 and MiPS instructions. This allows Android L to speak more language and work in more CPU more that its predecessor.
